Our camp for tonight is in Katherine, not far from the hot springs. (L) Day 2 Cross the Western Australia border and a towards the township of Kununurra with its vast irrigation scheme, our camp for the night and where we take the first of many Kimberley swims. (BLD) Day 3 Leaving civilisation behind, we head to the beginning of the Gibb River Road. Here we see the impressive Cockburn Range, a familiar sight for those who have seen Australia' the movie. Then onto our bikes of a ride into the gorge-filled El Questro, a 1,000,000 hectare station. There is a walk here this afternoon up into the palm-filled El Questro Gorge, and we set up camp for the next two nights. (BL) Day 4 A day to relax and explore the El Questro wilderness park. Walk up to Champagne Springs or ride out to the thermal pool, or perhaps simply relax on the sandy banks of the Pentecost River before we embark on the next
