This tour is a 8 night / 9 day bush walk and a medium to high level of fitness is required. The journey starts with a light aircraft flight into Melaleuca, a small tin mining settlement. We journey from west to east for 85 km over mountain ranges, along remote wilderness beaches, through rainforests and across pristine rivers. Aboriginal people used this same route for thousands of years and evidence of their culture can still be seen. This is a truly remote wilderness experience which you shouldn't miss.
