This northern tour focuses on Monkey Mia, a beautiful resort that has been built primarily because of the dolphins on view. In traveling to and from Monkey Mia there is plenty to see. The tour highlights the dramatic contrasts of nature with stops at the famous Pinnacle Desert and Kalbarri National Park to name a few - all demonstrating Mother Nature at her most fascinating. The photos turn out a treat! and our adventure tour actually stay at the Monkey Mia Resort. Day 1 Perth Kalbarri Nambung National Park Pinnacles Desert Hangover Bay Sandboarding* We head north to the Nambung National Park & stop to explore the famous limestone formations of the Pinnacle Desert. After lunch at one of the small fishing towns there is a chance for a swim in the Indian Ocean, or a gentle stroll along deserted beaches. We carry on our adventure through Geraldton and along the Batavia Coast, the sight of many shipwrecks (ask your guide for the stories). In season (July September) check out the prolific wildflowers, en route to the Pink Lakes and the Ocean Gorges (Pot Alley). We stop to watch the sunset & Humpback whales frolicking in the Ocean (seasonal) and then we head for camp, which is a good time for spotting kangaroos. Tonight we stay in Kalbarri. It's a traditional Aussie Barbie tonight so a stop at a bottle shop on the way is a must. Overnight stay, Hostel, all facilities. (L, D) Day 2 Kalbarri Monkey Mia Kalbarri National Park Natures Window/Z-Bend Bushwalk Shark Bay Stromatolites This morning, we have a short drive to Kalbarri National Park where we begin the day with a bush walk to check out the magnificent views of the Murchison River - Z-bend where (time permitting) you can take a cool freshwater dip and then the famous Natures Window. We continue north to Shark Bay which takes us through station country, where we cross Meadow and Nerren Nerren sheep stations and another opportunity for
